Dr. Melvin Benson, Jr., of Integrated Dental of Florida, has been practicing dentistry for 18 years. Dr. Benson is constantly pursuing educational opportunities to expand his dental expertise. In 2018, he became one of the prestigious 6% of general dentists to earn a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Benson ensures that his patients understand their oral health has direct effects to their body as a whole. Medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and blood pressure can be exacerbated by an unhealthy oral environment.  

Dr. Benson has completed The Dawson Academy curriculum for Advanced Dentistry and Cosmetics, as well as mini-residencies in dental implants, surgical procedures, TMD, and sleep disorders. He is the sole owner of Integrated Dental of Florida, a state of the art dental facility located on South Tamiami Trail, near Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
