Michelin Guide Recognizes 15 Florida Restaurants
The Michelin Guide has come to Florida. With culinary traditions that have long been overlooked by the prestigious travel guide, our state has finally made the list, with 14 one-Michelin-star restaurants and a two-Michelin-star selection.
Michelin inspectors dined in Tampa, Orlando and Miami and announced their results last night. Tampa received no stars, while four Orlando restaurants were selected and 11 in Miami, including the only restaurant to receive two stars, L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon.

Although Tampa received no Michelin stars, there were three exceptional restaurants recognized for the Bib Gourmand designation. Bib Gourmand distinguishes restaurants of good value, specifically where one can have two courses and a drink for under $49. These restaurants are undoubtedly worth a visit the next time you are in the Tampa Bay area.
