Norman Love Confections opened its new storefront at The Shoppes at UTC yesterday. Previously located closer to the University Town Center mall, Norman Love Confections is now situated across University Parkway, next door to the newish Trader Joe's.

"We are grateful to have the opportunity to provide our gourmet confections to even more people through the increased traffic in this area," says Norman Love chief executive officer Lisa Fisher. "It is a privilege to be a part of the UTC family, and we are eager to continue to build relationships that cater to the Sarasota community.”

The company was founded by chef Norman Love in 2001. It is based in Fort Myers and has storefronts in Fort Myers, Estero, Naples and Sarasota. According to Love, it employs nearly 150 people.

The new shop carries Norman Love essentials like chocolate bars, desserts and signature chocolates, each shiny and artfully decorated, and almost too pretty to eat.

“Chocolate is an art," says Love. "It’s a love language and it’s a long-standing passion of mine that I cherish sharing with the Sarasota community. We’re eager to celebrate our relocation and continue to spread the love with our delectable and visually captivating desserts.”
