We’ve cheered for our teams. We’ve stayed up way too late on Sundays. And for some of us, dedicated fandom has paid off. That’s right: We're talking about Super Bowl LVIII, coming at us on Sunday, Feb. 11. In a face-off between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, there can only be one winner.

OK, but real talk... This writer knows next to nothing about sports, aside from SEC football (go Gators!). But the Super Bowl also means snacks. So. Many. Snacks.

Hear us out: We want a big box of tacos while watching a football game. Tacos are, in fact, a perfect football food: handheld, customizable and heartburn-inducing. At Reyna's, the tortillas are freshly made and the salsa steals the show. Throw in some street corn for good measure.

Sarasota's newest upscale Mexican restaurant is bringing it down home this Super Bowl. They've upped the takeout game with six different platters: Fajitas, quessadillas, tacos, sopes and taquitos are all available for your game day party, but it's the chicken wings that have us the most excited. Kolucan is frying up dozens of wings, tossing them in salsa roja and finishing them with cotija cheese and avocado ranch.

Solorzano's

Not to be confused with other pizzerias of a similar name, at the Solorzano's on Webber Street, we like the "centrello" pizza (a white pizza with onions, spinach, tomatoes and basil), but we would never tell you how to order your favorite pie.

Sushi may not be the first thing that crosses your mind when you think of football, but Tsunami's takeout game is on point. Why not switch up your order this year?
